Our Story

Founded in 2024 by two lifelong K-food obsessives, Gangnam Spice was born out of a simple mission: bring the bold, street-market flavors of Seoul to Boston's food-truck scene. After years of perfecting our double-fried chicken technique and obsessing over gochujang marinades, we hit the streets of Quincy Street to share our passion for real Korean Fried Chicken.

All Made-In-House

We craft every element from scratch-our gochujang glaze, spicy chili crunch topper, and even the crisp batter-using only premium Korean ingredients. Controlling each recipe ensures you taste authentic Seoul street-food quality in every bite.

Our two-step frying method locks in juicy tenderness while creating an unbeatable crunch that holds up under sauce. The result is that perfect, crackly exterior you can hear before you taste.

After frying, we finish each piece by gently caramelizing the sauce to deepen its sweetness and umami. This glossy, sticky coat intensifies every flavor note-spicy, savory, and just a hint of sweet.
